New York is home to a vibrant community of West Africans with ties to the Mande cultures of Sierra Leone, Gambia, Senegal, Mali, Guinea and beyond. That includes world class musicians and storytellers. This will be an evening with some of the best with gorgeous Mande music on kora, ngoni and balafon, and storytelling from Kewulay Kamara.
