Get involved! Join Afropop Street Teams to help promote the world's most exciting music (and have fun too!)

Afropop Worldwide, our multi-media non-profit organization dedicated to promoting contemporary artists from Africa, the Caribbean and the Americas, has openings for bright, energetic individuals who are passionate about music and the arts, to join our Afropop Ambassador Street Teams.

Volunteers will help staff our Afropop outreach booths at the best events and festivals and distribute our much appreciated Afropop city maps. We also need volunteers to represent Afropop at ticketed concerts events. You will get free passes. This is a great grassroots opportunity to meet wonderful people in the Afropop community and to help build our community.

For New Yorkers, space and interest permitting, volunteers can also help at the Afropop office in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Schedule and work focus is flexible.

VOLUNTEER QUALIFICATIONS:

* hard-working, energetic, music lover, able to work independently
* capable of effective representation Afropop Worldwide at events
* interest in world music, performing arts, arts administration, education, media, marketing, advertising
