Photo Feature: Orchestra Baobab at River to River Festival 6/25

Orchestra Baobab work the crowd

The sun was bright and warm, the crowd was in a dancing mood, and Afropop was there as Orchestra Baobab took the stage at Rockefeller Park in Lower Manhattan, as part of this year's River to River Festival.  The Festival once again proved that it can snag the hottest talent in pretty much any genre (Sonic Youth will grace River to River on July 4th), and Baobab put on a groovin' set that ran well past sunset.

Afropop will be back at River to River (this time at Wagner Park), for Jimmy Delgado Y Orquesta (Aug 13) and La Excelencia (Aug 20).
