Fula in the House

A lot of the music in this program came to us directly from Africa and can't be found on the international market. In some cases, we cannot even list the source as music was sent to us on homemade CDs. We certainly hope that more Fula music will soon be available internationally, and we will soon add a Fula music writeup and fuller discography to our Explore section.

Here are a list of albums heard on Afropop Worldwide's Fula in the House:

Mamar Kassey "Alatoumi" (Daqui 2000, World Village 2001)

Various artists "Music Of The Fulani" (AUVIDIS/UNESCO 1975)

Sory Kandia Kouyaté "Tour D'afrique De La Chanson" (Syliphone, Syllart 1998)

Various artists "Les Nyamakal Du Fouta Djallon" (Musique du Monde)
