Son de Madre is a Latin fusion band formed by some of the best musicians (from Cuba, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Israel, Italy, Venezuela and the U.S.) in New York City. While primarily promoting the Latin/Caribbean sound (son, timba, salsa, pilon, latin jazz, etc.), Son de Madre mixes all styles representative of their internationally collected band members.

This great New York band has a sound very influenced by Cuban music as well as the legendary Puerto Rican-based band Batacumbele, which incorporated a more Cuban feel in its music after traveling to Havana in the late 1970s.
