Vico C is on the horizon to become the new voice of Latin hip hop. Vico C, of Puerto Rican heritage and grew up in Brooklyn, NY, found his inspiration with the hip hop act Run D.M.C. but now attributes his talents to spread an inspirational message. After surviving a severe car accident that left him almost dead,he has tried his best to keep his music in focus with God.
His music is clean and brings a positive message to young and old, as observed in the song "Se Escaman"--"Esto es pa'que vean que no todo lo que vende es sexo", which translates to "This is to let y'all know that not only sex is sold".

With the introduction of the 2006 release of Desahogo, Vico C continues his message to the youth of positivity, personal
responsibility through good lyrics and clean messages with hip-hop, reggeaton, and caribbean beats.
