Pistolera
Pistolera Live
Self Produced, 2005
The spanish lyric songs of Brooklyn's Pistolera marry the Mexican styles of ranchera and cumbia with indie rock. This 5 song EP fronted by the deep female voice of Sandra Lilia Velasquez and accompanied by accordion, bass, guitar and drums, was recorded live by the band in one day by engineer/producer Charlie Dos Santos. The energy is raw and will have to dancing, rocking, and swooning from beginning to end.
