Stocking Stuffers 2014

It’s an annual Afropop ritual! Georges Collinet and Banning Eyre sift through all the great new music from Africa and its diasporas released during the year, and attempt to summarize it in one hour. An impossible task, but always good fun, and full of helpful gift hints for the music lovers in your life. This year’s highlights include new work from Aurelio Martinez, Angelique Kidjo, Toumani Diabate, Caetano Veloso, Kasai Allstars, Sierra Leone’s Refugee Allstars, Seun Kuti and Egypt 80, Thomas Mapfumo, Tinariwen, and much more, including a number of new artists breaking onto the scene this year.
